Roadmap and Release Notes
An overview of the Guncoin future development plans with tentative release dates in addition to prior version release notes can be found under the following roadmap section. The Guncoin Development Team reserves the right to re-adjust the roadmap based on resources, current technology trends and immediate needs.

GUN Core V1.3 (01/2018)
Release mirrors the Bitcoin Core 0.10.x releases & changes the block version to 4 on block height 840,000. Version 4 blocks brings two soft forks after 75% of the last 1,000 blocks are version 4 – BIP65 and BIP66.

Upgrade patch fixes the DoS vulnerability CVE-2018-17144 discovered in the Bitcoin 0.14 to 0.16 codebase – mandatory.
GUN Core V1.5.2 (12/2018)
Generates replacement coins for Cryptopia lost during the recent exploitation associated with Bitcoin Core. Inflation model is being moved forward to compensate for the extra coins. The block reward will change to 75 coins per block at height 1,112,500 instead of 1,500,000 and 50 coins per block on height 1,462,500 instead of 2,000,000.

Patch release to block the old clients that were causing confirmaton issues on the blockchain.
