Mandatory Upgrade – GUN Core V1.5.2

We are pleased to announce the release of GUN Core V1.5.2. We request that you download the new code from GITHUB and upgrade immediately. This is a mandatory update with a hard fork set for the 14 December – Please upgrade to 1.5.2 before that date. Our Cryptopia exchange lost a lot of coins due to attackers exploiting the Bitcoin DoS vulnerability CVE-2018-17144 – as they did on many other coins. This hard fork will generate replacement coins for Cryptopia and pay for new development work to fix the problem. The inflation model is being moved forward to compensate for the extra coins. The block reward will change to 75 coins per block at height 1,112,500 instead of 1,500,000 and 50 coins per block on height 1,462,500 instead of 2,000,000. Once Cryptopia have been compensated, the GUN wallet on there can be brought out of maintenance and Cryptopia trading will resume with no one loosing any coins.
